Showery Father's Day, Remaining Changeable Next Week, But Warmer

Overnight temperatures will drop into the upper 60s and lower 70s under partly cloudy skies. If sitting in a boat and fishing is your Dad's reward this weekend then Sunday might be best as winds weaken and low pressure arrives to get those fish biting.

It won't be a pretty Father's Day weekend with periodic showers and a few thunderstorms thrown in the mix. The weather will continue changeable and cool over the next few days, with sunny spells and thundery showers today, similar on Monday too, though the southeast becoming drier and warmer. Storms will slowly move to the south and east throughout the day with a low risk for severe weather.

These storms are below severe-limits, meaning severe thunderstorm warnings will not likely be issued. Winds have been a little on the breezy side, with gusts out of the south up to 35mph at times. Sunday high temperatures will reach the lower 90s under partly cloudy skies. Calm wind becoming east northeast 5 to 9 miles per hour in the morning.

An Instagram outage on Thursday left users of the Facebook-owned social network flocking to Twitter to vent frustration. Many have also complained that they can not post photos, send messages to other users or login.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Widely scattered showers and storms will redevelop in the afternoon. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. Partly sunny, with a high near 88.

Monday: A slight chance of rain, thunder possible, high of 74.

Saturday - A chance of showers is predicted with a high near 82 degrees.
