Flour sold at Walmart, Target nationwide recalled over E. Coli concerns

King Arthur Flour Inc. of Norwich, VT, reported the recall includes 14,218 cases of 5-pound bags of "Unbleached All-Purpose Flour".

According to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, ADM Milling Co. notified King Arthur that wheat used in the flour has been linked to an E. coli outbreak.

Products sold through King Arthur Flour website, Baker's Catalogue, or the Baker's Store in Norwich, Vermont, are not included in this voluntary recall.

As for the King Arthur recall, the company says affected products were "distributed through retailers and distributors nationwide". If you find King Arthur flour in the grocery store or in your pantry at home, check for this dates and numbers below the nutrition facts to see if it's been recalled.

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee expressed alarm at Trump's comments. "I think it's a mistake", said Graham, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.


"Consumer safety is our top priority, and therefore, we are voluntarily recalling these specific lots of Unbleached All-Purpose Flour to prevent potential illnesses".

Anyone who bought the recalled flour should throw it away or return it for a refund.

As of this evening, the FDA still had not posted any information about what, if any, other companies received flour produced by the implicated ADM Milling factory.

According to the CDC, E. Coli can lead to several symptoms including fever, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting.
