Apple iPhone XR Upgrade Could Feature Bigger Battery

The new cells boast 3,110 mAh, which is a 6% increase over the 2,942 mAh now on the iPhone XR, and this should provide a boost of at least a couple of hours per charge. Apple might be using more generic visuals to convey the message that you need to connect the iPhone to a MacBook.

Apple is expected to bring bigger batteries bundled along with its upcoming 2019 iPhone offerings, the media has reported.

5% doesn't seem like much; but truthfully, we'll take a battery life improvement wherever we can get it. The iPhone XR showed the world that a robust, nearly premium handset could sport a better battery life. This capacity represents a 5% increase over the last year's 2,942mAh equipped iPhone XR.

A report a few weeks ago claimed the iPhone 11 will ship with an 18W charger in the box, which is easily one of the most exciting iPhone 11 rumors so far.

According to unnamed sources knowledgeable about the matter, the batteries will be supplied by China's ATL (Amperex), the same company Samsung tapped to produce safe and non-exploding batteries for the Galaxy Note 7 after it had nightmares from the notorious SDI batteries.

Huawei will not Launch laptops Due to U.S. Ban
When Yu asked if the laptop could be launched at a later date, Yu said it "depends on how long the Entity List will be there". Richard Yu, the consumer division CEO, confirmed to CNBC that the laptop would not be released, calling it "unfortunate".

Apple boasts that the iPhone XR allows users to enjoy 25 hours talk time. Despite this, however, the report said the batteries for the iPhone XS and XS Max successors aren't being mass produced yet.

However, the iPhone XS Max and XS successors are expected to see increased battery packs, too, so it will be interesting to see whether they offer improved battery life and performance as standard.

What about the iPhone XS and XS Max successors?

While Apple is known for its secrecy, the brand is known for leaking information about its future products deep within new versions of iOS.
