Marvel’s Avengers Fans Want To Know Where Hawkeye Is

Developed by Crystal Dynamics (creator of the Tomb Raider reboot series) and co-developed by Eidos Montreal (of the two most recent Deus Ex games), Avengers is billed as the beginning of a multi-game partnership between Marvel and Square Enix. While we don't always expect to hear talk of release dates when a game has just been revealed, Square Enix surprised us there too.

Marvel's Avengers is an action-adventure game for up to four players.

We also know now that this is an original story that exists outside the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so the likes of Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans don't reprise their roles from the movies. To begin with, the game will feature Thor, Black Widow, Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America. The story, at least initially, revolves around the Avengers reuniting five years after a major disaster (seen in the trailer) ruined their lives, reputations, and helicarrier.

E3 2019 brought our first look at Crystal Dynamic's rendition of Marvel's Avengers.

Champions League: Tottenham defender Danny Rose reminded of loss to Liverpool
There have been some difficulties - no signings, playing at Wembley and I think the club and players have shown great character. You are reminded every day you lost and that was a unique experience for me.

The new Avengers game was one of the mot anticipated titles being shown at E3, but a number of factors have left those excited for the game underwhelmed after watching the reveal.

The game will arrive for PS4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC on 15th May 2020. The game will continue to grow and evolve over the course of multiple years, adding new areas of the game, story content, and additional superheroes to the roster.

Aside from that, we got a look at the cast, which features some of the industry's most recognized voices: Travis Willingham as Thor, Nolan North as Iron Man, Jeff Schine as Captain America, Troy Baker as Bruce Banner, and Laura Bailey as Black Widow.

In case you were also wondering how Marvel's Avengers ties into the narrative of Marvel's Spider-Man, here's your answer: It doesn't. Those who pre-order on PlayStation 4, however, get 7-day early access to the beta before it comes to other platforms.
