Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel are back as the voices of the beloved Anna and Elsa.

The official synopsis for the new movie reads: "Why was Elsa born with magical powers?" Due in theaters on November 22, the highly anticipated sequel - which reunites the directing team of Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee - continues the story of singing sisters Elsa and Anna (Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell) as they embark on a new adventure: one that will transport them to new realms in order to better understand their own past.

According to a new, brief story description, the answer to why Elsa has her powers "is calling her and threatening her kingdom". Apparently, she'll be going north, and seemingly that's where Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf will be involved.

The original Frozen was a massive global hit when it opened in 2013, earning over $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office, and went on to win two Oscars. The film will also feature new songs from Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
