'Reverse horror game' Carrion announced for consoles, PC

This colorful new title touts that players will be battling bizare obstacles, will shove through "unruly competitors", and must overcome the unbending laws of physics themselves to emerge victorious. Devolver Bootleg seemed to riff on the grey markets of Steam Direct and G2A, and it seemed too absurd to be real. Devolver Bootleg is a collection of games that Devolver Digital has ripped off from...themselves?

In addition to ripping off their own games and a Enter the Gungeon arcade machine, Devolver announced a "reverse horror" title in their pre-E3 show.

Try your hardest to race up the mountain and claim yourself king when the game releases on PC and PS4 in 2020. It's being developed by Warsaw's Phobia Game Studio.

As you travel further through the game on your path to retribution, you gain mass and grow larger - presumably by absorbing other people - tasty. Based on the popular rogue-like Enter the Gungeon, this new light-gun arcade title looks to bring back nostalgia for the era of Area 51 and House of the Dead.

It's now available to pre-order for $5,000 through Griffin Aerotech, but don't worry: there's a six-month special financing offer. Similarly, Mosaic is also a brand new adventure game.

Finally, Picnic Panic is an upcoming expansion for retro platformer The Messenger. Want to discuss a possible story?
