ASUS 6z or ZenFone 6? Check what's launching on June 19

The court order effectively meant a ban on the sale of Zen or ZenFone-branded phones, putting the highly anticipated launch of the ZenFone 6 in India - which Flipkart had been teasing as a sales partner for the past few weeks - in jeopardy. And as mentioned, the landing page reveals the launch date to be June 19, accompanied by specifications and features of the device. Coming to the performance, the Asus Zenfone 6 will be powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Soc coupled with Adreno 640 GPU.

Asus Zenfone 6 may be launched in India as Asus 6z without the Zenfone branding. It has HDR10 support and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

A Flipkart posting with the new name has affirmed that the Smartphone will launch in India on June 19.

The court order comes after Telecare Network filed a case saying that the company had proprietary rights to "Zen" trademark.

The Asus 6z is priced at Euro 499 (roughly Rs 39,100) for the 6GB + 64GB variant and Euro 559 (roughly Rs. 43,800) for the 6GB + 128GB version.

And it also demonstrated its continued support for Fallout 76 , announcing that human NPCs are coming to the game . For the first time, players will be able to control NPC characters and have their fates affect the world.

The same applies to the Zenfone 6 which was recently announced in Spain. The users can further expand the storage up to 1TB by adding a microSD card. The phone includes a 48-megapixel essential sensor with f/1.79 aperture and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with a 125-degree ultra-wide angle lens and f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone comes with an enormous 5,000mAh battery with help for Quick Charge 4.0 quick charging technology.

The smartphone will run on Android 9 pie out of the box with Asus ZenUI 6 on top.

As for the optics, the device gets a motorized camera that flips to act as a selfie camera.

Now it is pretty clear that this new legal verdict from the Delhi High Court will act as a big roadblock for Asus, but since this would be a significant launch for the company, they are likely to go all in with a new promotional campaign and a new name.
