"Negotiations are going well" as Arsenal close in on top winger target

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with the Gunners on a number of occasions in the past and almost made the move to the Premier League in January.

And Carrasco has himself confirmed he is negotiating with one club.

I'm the most important player in the club, but I hope the chairman understands me.

Carrasco shot to prominence with Atletico Madrid before sealing a shock move to China a year-and-half ago.

The Belgian has been heavily linked with the Gunners since the winter transfer window and it appears that they are on the cusp of an agreement with the winger keen on returning to Europe.

Arsenal look set to sign the Belgium worldwide after their attempts fell flat in January.

What To Expect At E3 2019
The usual suspects of a new Halo and Gears of War will undoubtedly be showcased, and there are strong rumours of a Fable 4 debut. There should be some big games on display from a variety of publishers too, so E3 2019 will definitely be worth following.

The Armenian arrived at the Emirates a year ago in a swap deal from Manchester United and this past season, the player has been used at regular intervals by Unai Emery.

Emery now has funds to spend and Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira claims Arsenal are in advanced talks to sign Carrasco in a deal that could be worth around £26.5m [€30m] if Dalian Yifang haven't changed their valuation from January.

While Henrikh Mkhitaryan is primarily an attacking midfielder but last season he spent most of his times down the wing and now it looks like Emery is planning to replace him with an out-and-out winger.

Arsenal are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to bounce back from their disappointing fifth-placed finish in the Premier League under Emery.
