E3 2019: Microsoft talks next console, Project Scarlett

Microsoft detailed their plans during their E3 press conference, promising that users would be able to stream games in their library - including any available through Xbox Games Pass - to mobile devices once xCloud is up and running.

Xbox's E3 briefing begins in less than four hours and we already have some key details about the console.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is $15 per month and includes Xbox Game Pass PC and all of the benefits of Xbox Live Gold.

Microsoft has released the first in-engine/gameplay trailer for the next Halo game, Halo: Infinite. Paired with high bandwidth GDDR6 memory, and a next generation solid state drive (SSD), Project Scarlett will provide developers the power they require to bring their creative visions to life.

Uber to start helicopter service
Only Platinum and Diamond members of Uber's loyalty program , Uber Rewards , will be able to book Uber Copter rides. Once a user reserves a seat, they will receive an email confirmation and boarding pass from Uber .


Update, May 24, 2019 (7:41 PM ET): Microsoft revealed some more Project XCloud details in a new Xbox blog post.

"A console should be built and optimized for one thing, and one thing only: games", said Phil Spencer, executive VP of gaming at Microsoft, at the event Sunday.

If you are a regular Xbox Live subscribers there is now an fantastic deal available to you which will give you access to more than a hundred games on your Xbox or PC for only a dollar. Apparently, Scarlett will run a "custom-designed" AMD processor based on Ryzen Zen 2 technology, as well as a Navi-based video card.

Xbox Scarlett is capable of variable frame rates up to 120 FPS and 8K visuals. The latest in the popular Halo series, Halo: Infinite, will be launched in Autumn in time for the next generation Xbox console. The console is supposed to be released sometime in "holiday 2020".
