Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order EA Play 2019 gameplay walkthrough

The gameplay took place about three hours into the game on the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk. Many of EA's games will get their own dedicated slot during the stream, allowing the developers to dive in deep on what we can expect from EA's upcoming slate. It won't shy away from bestial combat either, as the demo shows a few fights with insectoid foes.

As one of the first Star Wars games released after the Disney buyout, Fallen Order's story is official canon, fitting in with and referencing the movies, comics, and TV shows, while also elevating some other video game elements to canon.

Of course, it's a bit hard to figure out what platform the demo was running on. We're curious how much of Ragtag was recycled into Respawn's Jedi: Fallen Order. Outside of mobile games, an MMO and two Star Wars Battlefront titles, there hasn't been a whole lot coming from the license. We got to see several Force powers being used in the game including double flip or double jump, push, pull and slow (that slows down objects and projectiles).

PlayStation 4 to get 16 player parties and improved voice chat
There is a big proviso: if you participate in the preview, you can't join a party or use Share Play with folks who aren't in it. In the Preview Program, parties that you are able to join will have an asterisk (*) in front of the Party name.

While EA might not be holding a traditional E3 press conference this year, the publisher will still showcase some of its games at its EA Play 2019 livestream.

That is changing with Fallen Order, which gives players a glimpse into the life of a Jedi after Order 66 and the Jedi Purge. The Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Gameplay Demo then kicked off properly. Cal's Force powers were also revealed, showing how the young Jedi takes on the Stormtroopers following the rise of the Sith prior to the events of A New Hope.

According to Respawn "players will use their Jedi training to create different melee combinations with an innovative lightsaber combat system and Force abilities". Aided by a former Jedi Knight, a cantankerous pilot and a fearless droid, you must escape the evil machinations of the Empire in a story-driven adventure.
