Confirmed: Raiders Headed to Canada for Preseason Game

The NFL is heading back to Canada.

"It's official" the Oakland Raiders will host the Green Bay Packers in Winnipeg for an National Football League pre-season Week 3 game on Thursday, August 22, 2019.

The Raiders continue to be a team that isn't afraid to play on foreign soil.

The game will be a home contest for Oakland, which will play one more season in California before moving to Las Vegas in 2020.

The Raiders worked with On Ice Entertainment to make Winnipeg the host site of the game.

"We are thrilled to welcome both the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers to IG Field this summer", Blue Bombers president and CEO Wade Miller said in a statement.
