Two Chinese clubs battling to sign Arsenal star Aubameyang

Two Chinese clubs are hoping the bring the Gabonese forward to the far east, with Guangzhou Evergrande and Shanghai SIPG reportedly readying huge offers, after Tianjin Quanjian failed to get their hands on the forward past year despite offering Borussia Dortmund a whopping £71m. The striker has been brilliant in front of goal for the Gunners since arriving at the club from Borussia Dortmund, but his latest social media activities have got Arsenal fans anxious. Aubameyang finished as the joint-leading scorer in the 2018-19 Premier League season alongside Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah as the three African stars find back of the net 22 times in the top flight of English football.

Failure to qualify for the Champions League for a third successive season will cost Arsenal at least £50million in lost revenue this year. The wage packet would be some improvement on Aubameyang current £190,000-a-week deal in North London club.

As may be expected, the Times claimed Aubameyang could receive a big pay hike if he moves to China.

The Gunners paid a club-record £56m for Aubameyang last January, and he has gone on to have an extremely successful spell for the Premier League club over the past 18 months.

Now their Chinese Super League rivals Shanghai SIPG are ready to make their own move offering as much as £300,000-a-week, prompting Arsenal to fast-track negotiations for a new contract.

Amidst all the speculations, the Gabonese striker has caused a meltdown among the Arsenal fans, as the Arsenal striker is a lethal resource for the Gunners upfront.

The Gabon worldwide netted 32 goals this season while also teeing up 7 assists to his Gunner teammates.
