The final decision De Ligt needs to make

Rightly so, we've been hearing plenty about Matthijs de Ligt lately.

De Ligt is likely to start alongside Champions League victor Virgil van Dijk in Thursday's Nations League semi-final with England, live on Sky Sports Football, butthe Liverpool defender refused to give too much away on his global team-mate's next destination.

A fierce fight for the 19-year-old is expected to take place this summer, with United among those in the hunt, but it appears that Barcelona do not consider the fallen English giants to be a threat.

The publication claims that Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Juventus are all keen on securing the teenager's services.

But now, they could be forced into another bidding war with the French and Italian champions, both of whom are likely to be able to match their financial capabilities.

Should Leonardo succeed in securing De Ligt, PSG would be open to selling fellow defender Presnel Kimpembe this summer, with the club confident they can bring in at least €40 million for the youth academy-raised France worldwide.

On Sport's front page on Wednesday, the newspaper claims De Ligt will make his decision over the course of the next week.

Therefore, the report says Liverpool have become serious contenders to sign the Dutch superstar as they have offered a competitive financial package and Raiola believes de Ligt would benefit from playing alongside compatriot Virgil van Dijk every week.
