Jussie Smollett's 911 Call Has Finally Been Made Public

Jussie Smollett's 911 Call Has Finally Been Made Public

"They didn't do anything with it, but it's around his neck".

On Tuesday, Lee Daniels said that "Jussie will not be returning to Empire", regarding a report from Variety which explained that producers and writers were trying to figure out a way in which Smollett could be re-introduced to the series. That's pretty fucked up to me.

The on-again, off-again reports of Smollett's possible return included Fox Entertainment and 20th Century Fox TV issuing a statement in April saying, "By mutual agreement, the studio has negotiated an extension to Jussie Smollett's option for season six, but at this time there are no plans for the character of Jamal to return to Empire".

Smollett, 36, was reluctant to file a police report, the caller said, adding that he'd make sure his client did so.

During the first three-minute call, the man said the person went to a Subway restaurant and "some guys ... they jumped him".

"He's definitely gonna make the report".

Apple isn't acting subtle about the (still rumored) looming death of iTunes
Apple is trying to adapt by squeezing money from digital services tailored for the more than 900 million iPhones now in use. Although still popular, the iPhone is no longer reliably driving Apple's profits the way it has for the past decade.

Yesterday, the Chicago Police Department released the two 911 calls from the night when Smollett says that he was attacked.

He said: "I reported, I've been waiting on the police". "I thought they'd be here by now".

Recall: Smollett claimed that he was doused with a bleach-like substance, subjected to racist and homophobic slurs, and attacked with a noose.

Representatives for Smollett did not return a request for comment on him being dropped from the show.

Smollet previously claimed he was jumped by two men during the alleged attack in Chicago in January, but two brothers then alleged he had paid them to stage an attack. The two attackers, it was claimed, yelled "This is MAGA country". He denied all the charges against him.

There have been rumblings that the actor could return for the next season of Empire but after some speculation, Lee Daniels has officially put those rumours to rest. However, in March, prosecutors dropped all 16 counts against the actor.
