Donald Trump sets the record straight on 'nasty' Meghan Markle comments

You can read about it wherever you want to read about it.

Piers added: "Did he say: 'Come on - do you think my wife's nasty?'"

In a tweet, Trump wrote, "I never called Meghan Markle 'nasty, '" claiming the quote was made up by "fake news media". I said she was nasty about me.

"He's a terrific guy. In fact I think she's doing very well". Couldn't have been nicer.

"I think the force of the four of them and the attention on the four of them being cohesive in some of these things is of such an advantage to the public and their mission so to see them split would be really unfortunate". But throughout the visit, observers looked for other signs of possible tensions between the royal family and Trump.

Trump also insisted to Morgan, long a sympathetic conservative voice, that he had planned to bring up the matter to Prince Harry when the two met on Monday at Buckingham Palace. The House Cambridge Instagram did post photos of Prince William and Catherine from the state banquet and there are shots of Trump and the Queen later on in the carousel but... note the caption below.

House OKs $19.1 billion disaster aid bill
Still, it's unlikely the bill will see a vote in the GOP-led Senate as the White House "strongly opposed" the measure. In 2017, the hurricane killed almost 3,000 people and did major damage to the island's power grid.

President Donald Trump is clarifying some comments he made about Meghan Markle at an earlier time. After that he and First Lady Melania Trump will travel to Ireland and then head to France on Thursday. It's common knowledge that before joining the Royal Family a year ago Meghan was a critic of the President.

With the Queen? Of course. As a member of the British royal family, Meghan has already strayed further into political territory than others have - for instance, by speaking out against racism, which she has faced personally in recent months. And Trump had several opportunities to have his picture taken with them. In his mind though?

Royal commentator Rob Shuter said Meghan was "not happy coming in second place" and is weighing up moving stateside.

Trump and Melania toured the Churchill War Rooms on Tuesday and hosted Prince Charles and Duchess of Camilla at dinner.

The Duchess has been known to be a critic of Trump in the past.
