James Bond set 'explosion' at Pinewood Studios injures one

The "controlled explosion" damaged the outside of the famous 007 Stage at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, where the spy franchise is filmed, a tweet from the official James Bond Twitter account said.

The Sun quoted a source as saying: "It was utter chaos".

No one working inside the studio was hurt, but one crew member outside suffered a minor injury, the filmmakers said.

According to the United Kingdom tabloid The Sun, part of the stage was blown off during the filming of a stunt involving a fireball inside a laboratory. "The place is now on total lockdown".

Last month, Bond star Daniel Craig, 51, was injured while filming in Jamaica.

Full-court scrimmaging is a step the Warriors medical staff and Kerr want to see before he is cleared for game action. The Warriors won Game 6 of that series before sweeping the Portland Trail Blazers in the Conference Finals.

More recently, Craig (Bond 25 will be his fifth time in the role of James) sustained an ankle injury while on set in Jamiaca, where the movie, ironically, opens with 007 enjoying a well-deserved vacation.

The film is now due to open in cinemas in the United States, Britain and France on April 8, 2020.

The production said that his injury, treatment and recuperation would not cause a delay to the overall schedule.

Craig has played James Bond since 2006, his first film was "Casino Royale".

Along with Craig, cast members for the upcoming instalment include Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch and Billy Magnussen, with Léa Seydoux, Jeffrey Wright, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes returning to the series.
