Jones was also fined a total of P70,000 for hitting Abueva in the groin area and shoving referee Joel Baldago when he went after Abueva for the clothesline hit.

American basketballer Calvin Abueva has delivered one of the craziest, cheapest hits seen on a basketball court in recent years during a professional game in the Philippines.

The PBA on Tuesday afternoon threw the full weight of the rule book on the Phoenix Pulse forward, suspending Abueva indefinitely and slapping a P70,000 fine on him for a controversial two-game stretch and what many felt was an arrogant act toward those running the league.

During the game against the Blackwater Elite last Friday, Abueva was involved in a verbal altercation with a female fan who was later identified as the girlfriend of Bobby Ray Parks of the Blackwater Elite.

A short time later, the camera caught Jones dancing on the sideline as his squad enjoyed a comfortable lead in the fourth quarter.

Phoenix's Rob Dozier and Jason Perkins were fined P1,000 each for their technical foul for 2nd motion and verbal altercation, respectively.

Commissioner Marcial said that he had to impose the penalty of indefinite suspension to instill discipline and maintain professionalism in the league.

Additionally, referee Bing Oliva was suspended for 10 game days for missing what the league said should have been called a flagrant-2 foul on Jones for hitting Abueva in the groin.

Abueva was immediately ejected from the game, but not before he got opportunity to show off his very own dance moves. He also said that while some level of physicality is allowed during the games, violent behavior or unsportsmanlike conduct have no place in the PBA. In the aftermath, Abueva mimicked Jones' dancing and even tossed up a middle finger. Abueva - acting like a soccer player - falls to the court writhing in "pain".
