Borussia Dortmund pulled off a transfer coup on Wednesday, snatching gifted global midfielder Julian Brandt from the grasp of Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Later on in the day the German side also confirmed the arrival of Julian Brandt on a five-year deal from Bayern Leverkusen.

"I am someone who sometimes follows his instincts and for me a good feeling is important", he said.

The club finished just two points behind Bayern in a tense end to a brilliant title battle.

Pulisic spent four seasons at Borussia Dortmund having signed for the club as a 16-year-old, but the attacker feels it is the flawless time in his career to make his move to England and the Premier League.

"He can be used in a number of attacking positions and will enrich our game with his creativity, " Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said.

With the likes of Jadon Sancho, Paco Alcacer and Marco Reus firing on all cylinders, as well as the additions of Julian Brandt, Thorgan Hazard and Nico Schulz this summer, the club will undoubtably challenge for silverware next season.
