Ribery, who joined back in 2007, and Robben, who arrived two years later, then came on as substitutes and scored Bayern's fourth and fifth goals for a ideal farewell.

"We will try to keep the pace with Bayern in the coming years".

"I'm really happy with how I played this season", Sancho told reporters after Dortmund's 2-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach.

On Saturday, he was able to give the players a ideal sendoff, with Robben and Ribery both coming on as substitutes to score in their final Bundesliga appearances.

"He is an inspiration to a lot of youngsters, especially because he is from London and I am from London", Sterling said. "I have first-hand information".
