Green shows a more mature side for the Warriors

The Golden State Warriors star has had his hand in leading the squad toward what seems to be an inevitable fifth-straight appearance in the NBA Finals, stepping up majorly in the absence of Kevin Durant.

Lillard has made a point throughout his career of not using injury as an excuse for poor play - he's played through countless minor injuries and has missed just 25 games over the course of seven National Basketball Association seasons.

The Golden State Warriors will go for their second Western Conference finals sweep in the last three seasons Monday night when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers for Game 4 in the best-of-seven series. Enes Kanter, despite sustaining a separated shoulder in the first-round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, started in all the previous games. They took an 80-79 lead with 44 seconds remaining in the third and never gave it back. He had two points and five rebounds in 18 minutes. He was healthy during that game.

Portland leading scorer Damian Lillard has had a hard time with a hovering Golden State defense and, with his team facing elimination from the NBA Western Conference finals, the Trail Blazer All-Star has a decision to make. The Trail Blazers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 1 days rest and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.

Adidas, Nike, Puma say new tariffs on China would be ‘catastrophic’
The U.S. earlier this month increased tariffs from 10% to 25% on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods. Resolving that issue in an enforceable manner is a core US demand in trade negotiations.

Lillard and McCollum are even missing their open looks and are struggling to make their often reliable floaters to the basket. The Trail Blazers only seem to be able to put things together for a quarter or two before things go flat, and they haven chance in hell if Lillard is going to continue playing at this level.

Klay Thompson has defended Lillard for much of the series. He made a bounce pass through the paint to a cutting Andre Iguodala for a dunk with 3:06 left to make it 108-105, and then assisted on a layup by Kevon Looney the next possession.

Draymond Green is chugging through the 2019 NBA Playoffs and putting up some nice numbers.
