Mick Foley Reveals the 24/7 Title on Monday Night RAW

Mike Johnson is reporting the name of the title will be "24/7 Championship".

We saw the brief return of WWE legend Mick Foley tonight to reveal the WWE 24/7 Championship.

The new championship calls to mind the "24/7 Rule" of the retired Hardcore Championship, of which Foley was the initial bearer in 1998.

Vince McMahon reportedly loved the idea of introducing a Wild Card type of championship when the idea was brought up to him.

On top of the news that the title will be defended at all times, it can also be defended against all superstars.

Philadelphia Eagles Defensive End and Social Justice Activist Chris Long, Announces Retirement
After lingering on the free agent market following the Super Bowl-winning season, Long joined the Eagles on March 30, 2017. The former Virginia Cavalier played 11 seasons with the Rams , Patriots, and Eagles, before calling it quits.

Foley kicked off the segment talking about how Raw has lost something.

Foley then left the title on the ring mat and said who ever grabbed it first would become 24/7 Champion.

Absolute chaos ensued with Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Mojo Rawley, EC3, Eric Young, and others scrambling towards the ring in hopes of becoming the first champion. Robert Roode then came out of nowhere and won the title from O'Neil but later on, in the show, Roode lost the belt to R-Truth.

The new WWE titles were teased on Sunday's Money in the Bank pay-per-view and Foley arrived early to Monday Night RAW holding the title in a sleeve. This would lead to WWE superstars to have impromptu matches all over the arena, airports or wherever they can wrestle. Like the Hardcore Title, as long as a referee is present a pin fall can take place anywhere.
