Juventus announce Allegri to leave this summer

Juventus have confirmed manager Massimiliano Allegri will stand down at the end of the 2018/19 season.

Speaking after their disappointing Champions League quarter-final defeat to Ajax in April, Allegri said he expected to stay next season.

Allegri arrived in 2014 after four years at Milan and led Juve to five consecutive Serie A titles.

Juventus FC head coach Massimiliano Allegri celebrates with the Serie A Trophy at the end of the Serie A match between Juventus FC and SSC Napoli at Juventus Arena on May 23, 2015 in Turin, Italy. Allegri will be on the bench for the last time with Juve a week on Sunday when his team are guests of Sampdoria.

"How many times do I have to say?"

Internet sensation Grumpy Cat has died
She's done television commercials for Honey Nut Cheerios and took photos with hundreds of fans at South by Southwest. Grumpy Cat , whose permanent scowl was the result of an underbite and feline dwarfism, was an online sensation.

After meetings with Juve chief Andrea Agnelli, the club and the coach have made a decision to part ways this summer, despite Allegri having a year to run on his contract. "I am satisfied working with this club, with the people here".

And the Old Lady have aslo been backed to appoint Mauricio Pochettino, whose future at Tottenham is up in the air.

"I couldn't afford him: my parents taught me that you have to always work within your means".

Allegri had a year remaining on the contract extension he signed in 2017 but he will not see it out as the Bianconeri continue in a different direction.

"I like his game and I like his way of playing football until the death". Next season may not be as good, but I am going to be manager of Man City.
