Huawei Mate 20 X (5G) Announced In The UK

According to the news from the terminal manufacturers, the pre-commercial 5G networks of the three major operators are mainly aimed at Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.

The phone is a 5G version of the Huawei Mate 20 X that we reviewed back in February, joining the regular Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro that rolled out previous year. The 4,200mAh battery is smaller than the predecessor's 5,000mAh affair, but the new cell supports an improved 40W supercharge (over the original's 22.5W). But the highlight for gadget fans is news about the Huawei Mate 20 X and the Mate X.

Huawei has revealed plans to bring its first 5G-enabled smartphones to the UK. The phone comes with a 7.2-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 87.6 percent.

At £999 the 5G variant is £200 more expensive than the standard (non-5G) Mate 20 X, which we've reviewed here. Rest of the specifications remain the same as the regular Mate 20 X (you can find its full specs here!). Now, the company has launched the Mate 20 X 5G in the United Kingdom as well, and sales begin in June.
