First a tornado warning, now a flash flood warning in CNY

Tornadoes touched down in Texas and Nebraska Friday evening as thunderstorms developed across the Plains and Midwest bringing hail and damaging winds to several states.

There was a tornado watch in effect Sunday morning for parts of Louisiana and MS until 10 a.m.

Unfortunately, that means very favorable conditions for violent severe weather in parts of this region.

Damage is possible to roofs, siding, and trees as the storms move through the area as part of a cold front that will usher in highs in the mid 50′s on Monday.

Severe storms are possible after 2 p.m.in Oklahoma City with the risk of damaging wind.

In addition to tornadoes, there will be the possibility of large hail.

Later in the day, he is expected to be in Badrinath, another temple in Uttarakhand's "char dham" religious circuit. It is unfortunate that the poll body has not taken any action against the PM, he added.

Fire officials in Comanche County, Oklahoma said that two people escaped from a home destroyed by a tornado without injury Saturday, and another person was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

There'll most definitely be the skill for severe weather within the Midwest and Northeast on Sunday afternoon and night. The greatest threat for long-track tornadoes will exist along the corridor from near Lubbock northeastward to Childress, Altus, Lawton, Clinton to just west of the Oklahoma City and Enid vicinities.

On Sunday, the threat of severe weather is forecast to be the greatest from the Lower Peninsula of MI to northwestern Kentucky and western Tennessee.
