The Epic Store Is Giving Away Another Free PC Game

The Epic Store Is Giving Away Another Free PC Game

The Epic Games Store began its "Mega Epic Sale", but has hit some snags along the way, including two games being pulled off the store.

The discount also, interestingly, applies to upcoming games that are available for pre-order, such as Borderlands 3 and John Wick Hex, a strategy game based on the movie franchise.

One those games was Paradox Interactive's Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 but that has now been removed from sale from the Epic Games Store completely.

What if I bought a game just before the Epic Mega Sale?

If a developer or publisher chooses to not participate in our sales, we will honor that decision. Paradox Interactive and Klei Entertainment have chosen to not participate in the Epic Mega Sale and their titles (Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 and Oxygen Not Included, respectively) have been temporarily removed from sale. It did confirm, however, that it will honor the discounted price for anyone who purchased Bloodlines 2 before it was removed from the store.

During the Epic Mega Sale, developers and publishers are discounting a ton of great games up to 75% off. For more information, check out the FAQ.

Missouri Senate passes bill to ban abortions at 8 weeks
In the wake of the bill being passed, Amanda Reyes, president of the group had received many donations - some as big as $15,000. If the house approves Bill HB 126, it will see Missouri enforce some of the most strictest laws on abortion in the US.

It's a busy day over on the Epic Games Store.

Of course, the value of a sale all comes down to what you, the consumer, are looking for.

Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2 was announced quite recently, with a release date set for early 2020.

While I generally do not endorse pre-ordering games - why pay now and wait when you can pay later and buy the game, knowing what reviewers have to say about it? Games have changed pricing and discounts since yesterday. The sale itself isn't that surprising, it's the fact the company is taking $10 off the price of any game above $15. "We had meant to raise the retail price of the game soon, but made the decision rashly as part of the sale-we didn't provide advance notice to our customers, despite previously stating we would do so". The refund will also take into account the US$10 discount for applicable games. That was our mistake, and we sincerely apologize. You will receive your $10 refund automatically to the payment method you used in the next 7-12 days. Epic using some of its bazillions to subsidize deeper discounts on sale items is a big plus for gamers and developers alike: The players get their stuff even cheaper, and the makers are able to reach a wider audience than they otherwise might.

"Now go check out the sales!". They will even bring Rocket League to the store as an exclusive game in the near future.
