No European glory, but City's Guardiola shows grit to retain title
That, ultimately, cost Liverpool the title. "Blow the whistle now ref!", bellowed a Liverpool fan at the back of the room. However, City were level immediately through Sergio Aguero before Aymeric Laporte gave the Citizens the lead.

CPU Battle Mode and Marathon Mode paid DLC has been added.

However, the package will also include a Marathon mode, which incorporates the traditional single player based Tetris mechanisms. However, instead of squaring off against just one other player, there are 98 to contend with. Additionally, the "3rd Maximus Cup" online event will begin on May 17. In our review of Tetris 99, we said that it is "a riveting take on an all-time classic, Tetris 99 is wondrous pandemonium in a (battle royale) bottle". Starting on May 17 at 12:00 a.m. (PST) and ending on May 19 at 11;59 p.m. (PST), the third Maximus Cup differs from the previous two events in that anyone can win this time around. Participants who earn at least 100 event popints during the three-day period will also be able to unlock a special in-game theme inspired by the original Game Boy game. The higher that players place at the end of each match, the more event points they earn.

Tetris 99 is the video game gift that keeps on giving.
