Liverpool’s Mane, Salah share Golden Boot with Arsenal’s Aubameyang

Arsenal forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said that he was happy to share the Premier League Golden Boot with two other African players, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Liverpool grossed 97 points but failed to win the league as winners Manchester City got one point more to retain their title.

Mohamed Salah has come in for criticism at various times this season - not only for alleged diving but also his form. "This is a new one".

It rained goals galore on the final day of the Premier League campaign, which saw three African superstars end at the top of the Golden Boot ranking, writing Premier League history.

While Gunners' ace Aubameyang lifts his second top-scoring title after the 2016/17 Torjägerkanone with Borussia Dortmund, in which he netted a staggering 31 goals in 32 games. This is the highest number of goals scored ever, in a single Premier League season with 38 gameweeks.
