Kodak Black Arrested on Weapons Charges

Wayne canceled his performance after refusing to be checked by security at the festival.

South Florida rapper Kodak Black was arrested in Miami-Dade on Saturday night on weapons charges, police confirmed.

WSVN 7 News in Miami confirms he was arrested at the festival, citing the ATF, Miami-Date police Northside Gang Unit and the US Marshalls all played a part in the arrest of the rapper.

Black, who was born Dieuson Octave, is also facing trial on allegations that he raped a high-school student in SC. The statement didn't elaborate.

Lil Wayne will not be performing tonight (Saturday, May 11) at Rolling Loud in Miami.

Authorities said Black, who was born as Dieuson Octave and whose current name is Bill Kapri, would make an initial appearance in Miami federal court on Monday.

Kodak Black, 21, seemed unfazed by his latest arrest when he sat in the custody of Miami police immediately after and smiled for a photo that's now making waves all over the internet. In Florida, he has been charged at different times with drug and weapons possession, armed robbery, sexual assault, probation violations and fleeing from officers.
