Neymar suspended 3 matches after clash with fan

The punishment, which includes a suspended ban for a further two matches, means the Brazil worldwide will miss PSG's final home game of the season against Dijon, the campaign-ending trip to Reims and the Trophee des Champions against Rennes in August.

"Given the insults suffered by several players of the Club including Neymar at the end of the Coupe de France Final, and the various elements transmitted by Paris Saint-Germain to the Commission, Paris Saint-Germain considers this sanction hard".

Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar has been given a three-game ban for lashing out at a fan following a loss in the French Cup final last month.

Brazilian forward Neymar is the world's most expensive footballer.

"PSG and Neymar have chose to appeal against this decision to the FFF's commission for higher appeals".

But, if some speculation on the internet is to be believed, little Archie may have actually been born two weeks earlier. Harry said they were looking forward to spending some "precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up".

He exchanged words with the fan, who was filming him on his mobile phone, and then lashed out.

According to the Associated Press, PSG players Gianluigi Buffon and Marco Verratti also were verbally abused by the same fan, though they ignored him.

Announcing the ban, the French football federation said the sanction would go into effect from May 13 allowing the Brazilian superstar to appear for the French champions against Angers in Ligue 1 on Saturday. The Brazil star will also miss the first match of the 2019-20 season.

UEFA suspended Neymar on April 26, meaning he will miss the first three group matches of next season's Champions League, but he has chose to appeal. Neymar has already been suspended for three Champions League games for insulting match officials following the French side's elimination in the Round of 16.

The altercation took place on 27 April, minutes after PSG lost the French Cup final to Stade Rennais FC.
