Fortnite Season 9 Cinematic Trailer

Based on the information in the game files, it makes sense that the Thermal AR will be the first new weapon introduced to Fortnite after the 9.00 patch. A new Fortbyte will be added to the map every day until there that total of 100 has been met. Epic released the new season of its popular battle royale game with changes to the theme, new in-game content and other changes for players.

Fortnite's ninth season of content has arrived, bringing with it a whole host of gameplay additions and changes to the map.

Right now we're waiting on Fortnite season 9 to go live, but the patch notes tell us that 18 Fortbytes will be waiting for us as soon as the servers go live. Here's how Epic describes them: "Use clues to earn and locate hidden pickups around the island, helping you unlock rewards and uncover the secrets of Season 9".

It's a pretty simple challenge to complete, as you don't really have to interact with other players if you don't want to.

EU's regulators haven't exactly been shy when it came to imposing large fines on tech companies over antitrust regulations breaches.

But thankfully they have a good starting point with the Fortnite season 9 Battle Pass trailer revealing the location of a few of them.

There are 100 Fortbytes in all, and Battle Pass owners will need to collect them throughout the season.

The trailer shows the location for three Fortbytes - one that's in Fatal Fields, one in Junk Junction and one near the Paradise Palms race track.

Fortbytes piece number 99 is awarded after players gain 125,000XP while Fortbytes piece 96 is awarded after player hit tier 80 of the Battle Pass.
