EA's Gaming Subscription Comes To PS4 In July

"PlayStation Plus memberships are up more than 200% since the launch of PlayStation 4, which shows that gamers are looking for memberships that offer a multitude of services, across various devices, for one low price. Our goal is to give players more choice to try and play our games wherever and however they choose and we're happy to bring the service to PlayStation 4".

Electronic Arts Inc. announced that, as of July 2019, players can get EA Access on their PlayStation 4 consoles. Their more premium subscription lets you play their brand new games which is ridiculous value. Perhaps it was recognizing the success of EA Access on rival platforms that caused Sony to do an about-face on its unpopular decision, similar to what happened with their approach to cross-platform support. You can also sign up for one year for $29.99.

A similar service, Origin Access, has also been available on Microsoft Windows PCs as well.

The biggest draw EA Access has going for it is the Vault.

But with Steve Yzerman coming back to Detroit to take over general manager duties , Holland became Senior Vice President. It appears Ken Holland has already made his first major decision as general manager of the Edmonton Oilers .

However, you can not carry an existing account over from the Xbox One.

The move comes months after EA CEO Andrew Wilson teased plans to bring the service to "another major platform" along with saying that the company believes subscription and streaming services "will be transformative to the future of gaming".
