Nokia 4.2 launched in India for Rs 10,990: Specifications, offers

While the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge, the dedicate Google Assistant button is on the left edge. After which it will be made available in a number of retail outlets across the country.

Nokia 4.2 sports a U-shaped notched display with a slim bottom bezel, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and a power button with notification light. It packs a 3,000mAh battery. At the back, the Nokia 4.2 flashes a 2.5D curved glass along with a fingerprint scanner. The two devices also run Android Pie and are a part of the Android One program.

Nokia 4.2 features a 5.71-inch HD+ display with 1520×720 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop-style notch on top. It is powered by a Snapdragon 439 chipset paired with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB of internal storage.

On the imaging department, the Nokia 4.2 is backed by a dual-camera setup, which comes with a combination of 13-megapixel primary lens with f/2.2 aperture coupled with a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and dual 4G VoLTE sum up the connectivity options.

The Nokia 4.2 at Rs. 10,990 is a decent phone on paper, with its key features being the premium Nokia design and Android One experience.

Nokia's brand licensee HMD Global is set to bring the next wave of Nokia smartphones to India. The dimensions are 148.95x71.30x8.39mm and the phone weighs 161 grams.
