The NBA's most successful franchise dispatched the Indiana Pacers 4-0 in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs and are now going up against NBA's best regular season team Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo is nearly certain to be awarded the MVP, but he was unable to produce his consistent brand of basketball as they lost 112-90 to the Celtics in the opening game.

Antetokounmpo scored 22 points but shot just 7 for 21. While the Bucks have improved, the Celtics are different this year too, as all-stars Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward are healthy and playing this year.

Leonard and Pascal shot a combined 28 for 38 for 74 points in Game 1, outscoring Philadelphia's starters by themselves. The Bucks are at home again in Game 2, and bet365 Sports likes their chances at 1.31, while Boston is at 3.60.

"He was like 12 for 12, didn't miss a shot, it was insane, it was unbelievable".

The NBA Conference Semifinals are in full swing, and we've got the best eight teams of the NBA this year going for it with full force.

I was buying into the Rockets regardless, but the injury to DeMarcus Cousins really hurts the Warriors in this series.

Al Horford stood his ground as Giannis Antetokounmpo charged his way.

Broussard went on to say that anticipation about Kevin Durant and Irving uniting in NY next season as free agents might be premature.

"He's been on track but he's still got some hurdles to cover", Budenholzer said. He looks a lot like Malcolm that we've known. I think they will - the Raptors take it in six. "We'll see how these four, five days - now we're three or four into them - and evaluate him at that point and assess what the next step is".

Embiid and Jimmy Butler, Philadelphia's two highest-paid players struggled mightily in Game 1. Marcus Smart, meanwhile, remains out, with Celtics coach Brad Stevens saying there will be no update on a timeline for his return from a torn oblique until Smart actually returns to practice.
