'Game of Thrones' Battle of Winterfell Photos: The Great War is Here

Check out the photos, which include Jaime Lannister and Brienne fighting side by side, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen on a distant hilltop overlooking the battle, Sansa and Arya Stark on the castle ramparts, and Tyrion Lannister and Varys in the crypts.

Some of the images appear to be taken directly from the teaser for Episode 3 that fans will have seen this past Sunday at the end of the previous episode, while others give us a tiny hint of what we're in store for during the upcoming episode that will fall just shy of the 90-minute mark. Here are the characters who we're most anxious about in next week's big episode.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback said Tuesday he knows something important about the final season of HBO's hit series "Game of Thrones", but he's not providing any spoilers just yet. The moment turned out to be one of the most buzzworthy scenes in the episode, eliciting reactions from fans - and cast members!

"It's going to be a bloodbath, but we're going to love it".

Here at The North Awaits, JOE's Game of Thrones podcast, we're in the business of wild theories that are just insane enough to sound plausible. Grab some tissues, y'all. Before heading out for battle, Samwell gifted Jorah with his family's Valayrian steel sword, bringing Jorah to tears. A few have theorized that this could place the undead leader at the Citadel, the holder of the history of the world of Game of Thrones.

Both of Manchester City's goals came in the second half - from Bernardo Silva (54th minute) and Leroy Sane (66th minute). So, as Radiohead's Thom Yorke was sang in a song from the 90s you've probably never heard of, where do we go from here?

Podrick has grown from a timid squire to a formidable fighter, all thanks to the help from his trainer, Brienne of Tarth.

Tormund has grown from a terrifying fighter who would kill anything that got in his way to a amusing and gentle giant that loves Jon Snow and has a massive crush on Brienne of Tarth.

And there is no one more ready for war than Sansa Stark. Either way, we want to see her make good use of the dragon glass weapon. In case viewers have forgotten, the Night King has a knack for resurrected the dead. And what does any party going into battle do to improve their odds? It's tough to say. At the end of Season 7, she fled with Theon and thanks to that decision, the North got a leader to hold the fort while Jon was away.

He also had a prediction for Sunday's upcoming episode, which will feature the long-awaited battle between the living and the dead at Winterfell.

What do you think is going to happen in the Winterfell crypts?
