Bruins moving on after Game 7 win over Toronto

So, it stood to reason that the B's would again need offense from their big three on Tuesday night in Game 7 if they expected to eliminate the Maple Leafs and advance to the second round. "But I thought it was outstanding". So this is obviously a feeling we've experienced two years in a row. Toronto landed the big fish of free agency last summer in signing Tavares, and their young players were meant to have improved with another year of experience to their credit.

"It's not a good feeling for any of us". It's the second straight year Boston knocked out Toronto in a Game 7. "I think we're really taking steps and going in the right direction, but we've got to get through this (first stage)". Maple Leafs management will likely go about things patiently, while the knee-jerk reactions can be left to fans and pundits - which is exactly what we saw from the passionate Toronto fan base online after the game. "We don't want this thing to end".

John Tavares cut the deficit to 2-1 in the second period but Kuraly's shot early in the third period restored Boston's two-goal cushion.

"Just missed communication", Matthews said of the play. "I was just trying to get a rebound, [Kuraly] was crashing the net". "I was calling for it to go up the middle".

Klopp gushes over unselfish Liverpool front-three
And Van Dijk is hoping that United's 4-0 humiliation at the ends of Everton on Sunday could be extra motivation for the Manchester derby.

With 2:17 left in the first period of Tuesday's Game 7, Gardiner's attempt to bounce the puck off the boards stopped short and led to a turnover that was netted by the Bruins' Marcus Johansson. Especially when you have the type of team and type of quality hockey club we have, the depth we have, you want to maximize that. "And you don't have to rely all the time on the ideal matchup because you know you have the confidence in all the lines that are jumping over the boards; it makes a big difference".

Kuraly celebrates his goal that put the Bruins up 3-1 in the third period.

"The [third] one, he did a good job shooting it off the stick and kind of tricked me with that one", said Andersen. That's a far cry from a fourth line that struggled at the beginning of the series without the injured Kuraly, and a third line that was pretty much nonexistent all season until Coyle arrived at the trade deadline. I'm proud of the guys, I thought we worked. With the win, the Raptors advanced to the second round of the National Basketball Association playoffs and Drake was sure to point out to the media that he was present for the event. "That's the bottom line". We showed it at times, but it's hard to put teams away. "This series we were a way better team than we were a year ago, but we're at the same point with the same result here today, and so that part is disappointing". "So thanks to everyone who came and cheered us on and everyone who was watching at home".
