Deontay Wilder says Anthony Joshua fight is 'inevitable'

Jarrell Miller has failed second drugs test after allegedly testing positive for human growth hormone ahead of his proposed fight with Anthony Joshua on June 1 in NY.

Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller has failed his third drug test, this time, testing positive for GW1516 as well as Erythropoietin (EPO).

Miller had previously denied knowingly taking any banned substances.

She pointed out Mexican fighter Saul "Canelo" Alvarez recently signed a $365m (£280m) multi-fight deal with streaming broadcaster DAZN, despite a six-month ban for failing two drug tests.

The 40-year-old tested positive for banned substances in 2017 but avoided a ban because boxing chiefs found he took the drugs for high blood pressure.

Hearn noted he was briefed of Miller's second failure for banned substance by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association, which regulates boxing and mixed martial arts.

Anthony Joshua will receive confirmation of his world title challenger in the "early part of next week" with an America-based opponent viewed as the "ideal" choice, says Eddie Hearn.

Miller, now without a license to box in the state of NY and out of a near five million U.S. dollar prize fight with World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua, acknowledged that he has hurt those closest to him, including himself, with this double blow.

While there are talks about finding a new opponent to replace Miller, Whyte has said that he is willing to step up and take the challenge.

"I want to thank all of my supporters who have stood by me since day one and especially during this extremely hard time", Miller wrote on Instagram. "A lot of ways to handle situations and I handled it wrongly and i'm paying the price for it". Missed out on a big opportunity and I'm hurting on the inside. I hurt my family, my friends, my team, my supporters, but I'm owning up to it. I gonna get straight to the point.

Luis Ortiz looks in pole position to be drafted in as a replacement for Miller with Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn revealing confirmation of an opponent for June 1 will be officially announced next week. "If I fight him, it's definitely going to be a test and all the truths will come out". "If you don't think you can beat him clean then delete my number!" I love you guys and I appreciate you guys out there, and as fighters we go through a lot and I don't want to make it a bad name for ourselves.
