Beyonce's Deal With Netflix Is Reportedly Worth $60 Million

Beyoncé performs onstage at Coachella on April 14, 2018. The streaming service famously paid Dave Chappelle $60 million for three, exclusive stand-up specials and past year struck a deal with Bruce Springsteen to air his show "Springsteen on Broadway" for $20 million.

Representatives for Netflix and Beyonce did not respond to the outlet's request for comment.

Ariana's Coachella's performance made her the youngest headliner in the history of the festival.

The 37-year-old superstar was reportedly paid $60 million for her three-project deal with the streaming giant.

The first of the three specials is Beyonce's "Homecoming", the behind-the-scenes documentary chronicling her 2018 Coachella performance - a massive spectacle of dance, visuals and music - which premiered on April 17.

According to Vulture, HBO also expressed interest in Homecoming, but backed out after Netflix offered up more money.

We may still be watching Beyonce's Homecoming documentary on a loop, but word on the street is Queen Bey has even more life-changing material on the way. There are also bonus tracks at the end of the album, including "I Been On" and her cover of Frankie Beverly & Maze's popular song, "Before I Let Go".

"I'm creating my own homecoming.", the superstar explains in the film, admitting she always dreamed of going to an HBCU, but ended up pursuing a career in music from a young age.
