Elmo brings peace to Westeros in Sesame Street's Game of Thrones sketch

Elmo brings peace to Westeros in Sesame Street's Game of Thrones sketch

Sometimes, Sesame Street visits the world of Game of Thrones, plays it completely straight, and manages to save just a tiny bit of time for humor.

No, Uncle Larry didn't spike your morning coffee again, that really is Elmo from Sesame Street sitting down with Game of Thrones' Tyrion and Cersei Lannister.

Cersei and Tyrion Lannister were arguing in King's Landing, the capitol of the fictional land of Westeros when Elmo intervenes. While they're trying to talk it out, Elmo, in full armor, shows up and asks the pair to respect each other.

"Elmo thinks that you two need to respect each other", Elmo said.

Hey, kids! You wanna see Cersei Lannister casually peer pressure Sesame Street's Elmo into drinking? "I'm willing to learn and listen if you are".

Nintendo Shares Surge Amid Reports Switch Console is Headed to China
Nintendo shares sold off toward the end of a year ago over concerns about weakness in its Switch games pipeline. Nintendo previously sold gaming devices like the Nintendo 64 and 3DS XL in China by using the brand "iQue".

"If we stop fighting and work together, we could be stronger."

After all, not even Cersei Lannister, who now wants both of her brothers dead, can resist the charm of Elmo in his very own armor.

With season eight of Game of Thrones underway, predictions and fan theories surrounding the series' finale are circulating now more than ever.

As Elmo points out, both Cersei and Tyrion would be much better off if they simply set aside their family drama and made an effort to listen, understand, and, most importantly, R-E-S-P-E-C-T each other as knowledgable dignitaries.

Dolores may not be real, but she really, really better mind her manners when the Cookie Monster's around.
