Happy Easter - there is a warm sunny weekend ahead

While Winter garb has been the protocol up until now it appears that the upcoming Easter weekend will be ripe with sunshine and balmy temperatures.

"It doesn't look like the same kind of organized severe weather outbreak that we had the other day", said Jonathan O'Brien, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service's regional forecast office in Mount Holly. I expect a dramatic further greening of the landscape in the coming days.

Cooler weather will move in Thursday.

More than two inches of rain may be in store for the Lehigh Valley over the next few days, soaking the start of Easter weekend and Passover.

All this rain will certainly keep the landscape exploding with color for the second half of April.
