Serena and more congratulate Tiger Woods on Masters win

Tiger Woods earned his fifth green jacket on Sunday at Augusta National, winning The Masters for the first time since 2005. Does it sting? Sure it stings, but it's just part of the business.

In the intervening period he battled a succession of injuries - a fourth back surgery in 2017 making him wonder if he would ever play again - and saw his reputation damaged by lurid revelations about his private life.

And now that Woods finally has that elusive fifteenth major tournament win under his belt, the only question that remains is not if, but *when* will he win his sixteenth.

James Adducci was presented with a check for more than $1.2 million Monday at a sportsbook in Las Vegas. Their big loss stemmed from a $10,000 bet they took in February on Woods to win at 12:1 odds.

Several athletes, including fellow golfers, wrote about Woods. Still though. $1.2 million. "They definitely beat us today, and hopefully they'll come back". You watch how smart he played, how he used his head at 12 and put the ball in the middle of the green, how he hit the ball left of the pin on 13, hit the middle of the green on 14 and 15.

While they're the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference , the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors are believed to be the favorites. If they can repeat their performance on that end of the floor, they will have a good shot at a potential 2-0 lead.

The 43-year-old carded a -2 under round to card -15 under for the week, beating Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele and Brook Koepka by one shot to win his 15th major. The SuperBook at Westgate Las Vegas reported a high five-figure loss on Masters future bets while BetOnline.ag told ESPN that the victory led to the company's biggest futures market loss ever.

Six years after EA Sports made a decision to drop the popular Tiger Woods PGA Tour series from the shelves, fans are desperate for the game to return after his iconic Masters win.

Technically, Woods has a chance to match Nicklaus' mark this year by completing the Grand Slam because of his 15 career majors.

"If there isn't a Tiger Woods PGA tour video game this year I'm selling all my consoles." another one said.
