Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri reveals what went wrong with plan against Liverpool

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri reveals what went wrong with plan against Liverpool

After the loss, Chelsea are now fourth on the table with 66 points from 34 games and they have now played one game more than their top-four rivals.

Senegalese striker Demba Ba, who profited from the Englishman's mistake by scoring the opening goal in Chelsea's 2-0 victory over Liverpool, has now insisted that he did not feel sorry for Gerrard as he was only doing his job.

Merseyside Police said in a statement: "We can confirm that we are investigating after a flare was thrown during the Liverpool versus Chelsea match on 14 April".

We have a huge Champions League clash against Barcelona in midweek before facing Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.

"But they are such a hard side to play against".

The German said: "What we want to do is collect as many points as possible".

Leafs' Kadri could face suspension for high hit
The NHL has offered Kadri an in-person hearing with the department of player safety, which may indicate a lengthy suspension. Pastrnak promptly fed a no-look-behind-the-back pass to Marchand, who slid a shot between Andersen's pads.

At one point in the second half, Chelsea failed to convert a risky attack sparked by a similar slip from Andy Robertson, and Klopp claimed the incident should draw a line under Gerrard's error.

"But now we are really very close to the other teams". If not, we can not change it.

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri was forced into a change, introducing Gonzalo Higuain and moving Eden Hazard from a false nine role into his usual position on the left, which brought immediate results.

"It immediately reminded me of the 4-3 against Borussia Dortmund, only Hendo [Jordan Henderson] instead of Millie [James Milner] and Sadio instead of Dejan [Lovren], but a similar situation with this wonderful cross in that area and really good team play".

Salah seems to be back in form and has now hit the back of the net for the second time in two games.

"My biggest problem with Manchester United at this point in time is maybe whereas six weeks ago I could see a picture of how they wanted to play, I can't anymore".
