Action Star Wars series ‘The Mandalorian’ presents first footage at Celebration

Fans who attended Star Wars Celebration were able to see some of the merchandise that will be available in the Droid Depot that will be located in the Black Spire Outpost.

Carl Weathers plays Greef, who runs a guild of bounty hunters and is the man who sets the Mandalorian up with his latest important assignment. He finds a bounty hunter named Mandalorian. And guess who he finds?

That "client" is presumably played by German documentarian Werner Herzog.

The trailer for the show - expected to be an anchor of the Disney+ streaming service when it launches in November - was omitted from a livestream of the event, but screened for a rabid in-house crowd at Chicago's McCormick Place venue, according to Deadline. That's when he encounters The Mandalorian, who Weathers' character hires to get the job done.

The panel exclusively showed attendees a sizzle reel that opened with the Mandalorian walking on a bridge on an icy world, following a transponder to a shelter. Greef tells him his options: "I have a bail jumper, a bail jumper, another bail jumper", he says, dropping "pucks" onto the table.

It's even being described as the "ultimate" LEGO Star Wars game, meaning you can presumably expect levels and characters from across Episodes I-III, IV-VI, and VII-IX, as well as spin-offs, animated series and such.
