Klopp: Liverpool are on fire ahead of Porto Champions League test

Klopp: Liverpool are on fire ahead of Porto Champions League test

Porto will not be an easy opponent, of course, despite last season's 5-0 rout in the round of 16, and speaking to reporters at Anfield Van Dijk was quick to stress this.

Finishing inside the top four gives clubs a chance to qualify for the Champions League next season and Neville and Carragher both think that Arsenal will struggle away from home despite having a relatively kinder run of fixtures.

"We have to take it game by game, we know that any points that we drop or any slip-up can cost us, and that's the same for them".

"That is actually what I love, and we showed that especially in the Champions League very often".

Klopp is due to take charge of his 200th match in charge of Liverpool when they host Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

"They have been playing well throughout the season as well, and it's going to be hard".

Gender Pay Gap reporting has started a conversation in our workplaces that wasn't happening before. Disheartingly, a separate study suggests it may take some time before the pay gap closes.

Klopp added: "I want to be as successful as possible but I am a normal employee as well so I know the most important thing is that we need money for next year as well".

Our main target is to win the league and the Champions League because we have the quality in the team and the staff, the club is incredible.

"If you are not for sure in the Champions League it changes everything - you can talk about this and that with the owners but you pretty much don't have to ask them because we don't spend money we don't have".

Liverpool manager Jûrgen Klopp hailed his side's development in Europe ahead of the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Porto.

"I'm totally happy here and do not feel like I'm finished here". I think he has improved a lot as a player.
