'Young and the Restless' Star Kristoff St. John's Cause of Death Revealed

A coroner's report on the death of The Young & the Restless star Kristoff St. John has delivered one final twist in the sad saga of the late actor.

Other contributing factors included "myocardial bridging of left anterior descending coronary artery and the effects of ethanol".

According to the L.A. Coroner's Office, his official cause of death is listed as hypertrophic heart disease.

The cause of death for Kristoff St. John, an actor primarily known for his role on "The Young and the Restless", has been released.

St. John was pronounced dead at the scene on February 4 after friends called police and paramedics to his home.

Instead, Trump primarily criticized the late senator for not supporting his efforts to abolish Obamacare. As Trump emerged as a force in the Republican Party, friction between the two men grew.

52-year-old Kristoff was found dead last month at his home in the San Fernando Valley.

Three days earlier, St. John had been released from a mental health hospital where he had been admitted for alcohol abuse and threatening self-harm, according to the report.

Kristoff had played Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless since 1991. After his death, co-stars and Hollywood peers were among those who mourned St. John's loss. He was reportedly getting treatment at a mental health facility at the time of his death, leading his parents to sue the facility for negligence.

"No parent should ever have to bury their child, and for those who do, it is a nightmare that haunts you forever".

TMZ also recently reported that Kristoff would be laid to rest next to the grave of his son, Julian. "He is an actor and while he may appear whole on the outside, his heart is broken", she told Entertainment Tonight at the time. The Russian native opened up about the devastating news on her Instagram back in March. He also has two daughters, who survive their father.
