Stranger Things 3 Trailer Is Here

Stranger Things 3 Trailer Is Here

On Wednesday, Netflix dropped the first full-length trailer for this summer's highly anticipated third season of Stranger Things.

The new batch of episodes - billed as Stranger Things 3 - will debut on the streaming service on 4 July, with the whole series taking on a summery, 1980s feel... with a few supernatural happenings and weird monsters thrown in for good measure. As Netflix teased in its official date announcement, "One summer can change everything".

Stranger Things 3 stars David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington and Noah Schnapp as Will Byers. It's about kids being kids, growing up, and the nostalgia of 80s summers. "We're [going to be] dealing with forces of evil that are new".

Netflix Releases Bizarre New Teaser Trailer For Stranger Things Season 3

It is soon revealed that Eleven is behind the stunt as they all giggle, with a surprised Dustin accidentally spraying Lucas in the eyes with hairspray. The Stranger Things season 3 trailer upholds that easy-breezy mood for quite a bit and saves the darker teases for the end. "I mean what did you think, we're just gonna sit in my basement all day and play games for the rest of our lives?" Yes? Will asks in the clip, suggesting that there will be differences of opinion between the group as they move from pre-teens to full-on teenage-hood.

It is Stranger Things, after all. It looks as though Billy may have been affected by one of the Upside Down creatures, as he's seen standing in the shower and touching a webbed spot on his inner arm.

The series was created by The Duffer Brothers, who also serve as executive producers and directors along with Shawn Levy (who also directs), Dan Cohen and Iain Patterson.
