Cindy McCain posts stranger's hateful message about John McCain, their daughter

President Donald Trump again criticized the late Sen. "Plus there were other things".

As Trump emerged as a force in the Republican Party, friction between the two men grew. Instead, Trump primarily criticized the late senator for not supporting his efforts to abolish Obamacare.

McCain called Trump's comments at a joint news conference with Putin "one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president in memory", adding that Trump "proved not only unable, but unwilling to stand up to Putin".

During the final days of the last presidential election, McCain withdrew his support for Trump when the "Access Hollywood" video was made public, showing the 2016 Republican nominee bragging about sexually assaulting women.

McCain shocked some by indirectly condemning Trump at her father's funeral, noting in her remarks that "America was always great".

"He spends his weekend obsessing over great men, because he knows it, and I know it, and all of you know it, he will never be a great man", she said Monday on the ABC show "The View", where she is a co-host.
