Sex Scandals Take Down K-Pop Stars Jung Joon-young and Seungri

Sex Scandals Take Down K-Pop Stars Jung Joon-young and Seungri

"I will faithfully cooperate with an investigation by police that will start on Thursday and I will readily accept whatever punishment is in store for me", the publication quoted Jung Joon-young as saying.

A member of South Korean boyband BigBang has prematurely had his contracted terminated, after he was accused of supplying prostitutes to his business contacts.

One of the group chats included Seungri of BigBang, who is now under investigation for brokering prostitution for investors. I have filmed women without consent and have distributed footage in social-media chatrooms and I've felt no guilt while doing so.

As the scandal snowballed, K-pop singer and composer Yong Jun-hyung on Thursday announced that he would quit his group, Highlight, admitting that he had received an illicit video from Jung and taken part in inappropriate conversations about the footage.

The 30-year-old released a statement on Tuesday taking responsibility for the accusations.

The reason? A prostitution scandal that has gotten so "big", it has become too hard to handle. Seungri also stands accused of providing prostitutes for wealthy investors.

Seungri was its public relations director.

In a post on his personal Instagram account, he revealed: "As this scandal is too big, I have chose to retire". "As for the ongoing investigation, I will take it seriously to clear myself of all the allegations". The CEO, surnamed Yoo, is reported to be Seungri's business partner.

Vietnamese ambassador to Malaysia , Le Quy Quynh, told AFP at the court: "I'm very disappointed that the court did not free Doan". They were then seen meeting a North Korean Embassy official and an Air Koryo official before flying out of the country.

Yong previously denied he was in the chat along with Jung and Seungri.

One K-pop star was charged this week with running an illegal prostitution ring, and now another singer has admitted to sharing secretly filmed videos of himself having sex.

Lee and Jung were both members of online chat groups where secret sex tapes were shared, and men joked about drugging and raping women, the broadcaster SBS said.

Jung said in a statement Wednesday that he recorded the videos without the consent of the women in them.

South Korea has been fighting an epidemic of "spy cam porn" in recent years. He is also barred from leaving the country. Lee had planned to begin the mandatory military service later this month.

The focus on finding the winning song and dance formula came at the cost of the performers' "moral education", said entertainment commentator Ha Jae-keun, adding that many companies covered up problems until it was too late.

"Following Seungri's announcement that he will retire, YG chose to accept his request to end the exclusive contract". Jung has already been dropped from his label and will be edited out of the television show 2 Days & 1 Night. He also said he was retiring from the entertainment industry. More than anything, I kneel and apologize to the women who appear in the videos who have learned of this disgusting truth as the incident has come to light, and to the many people who must be angry at the situation over which they can not contain their disappointment and astonishment.
