Browns' Kareem Hunt gets 8-game ban for altercation with woman

The NFL said in a statement Hunt's ban is the result of two separate incidents. The NFL has announced an eight-game suspension of the newly acquired Cleveland Browns running back.

Shortly after the National Football League announced Browns running back Kareem Hunt will be suspended for the first 8 games of the 2019 National Football League season, Hunt's representation quickly put out a statement that they will not appeal the decision.

Hunt's suspension stems from a pair of incidents that took place while when he was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. The 2017 National Football League rushing champ was released by the Kansas City Chiefs after 11 games following the revelation of a hotel security tape where Hunt was captured shoving and kicking a young woman in an early 2018 incident.

"I want to again apologize for my actions a year ago", Hunt said in a statement released by the Browns. Later, he issued a statement with an apology, saying: "I deeply regret what I did".

"First off, I would like to once again apologize for my actions previous year".

Hunt has apologised again and said he "respects the league's decision on discipline".

Lilly Singh becomes first YouTuber to host U.S. talk show
At the moment, there are no female late-night hosts on broadcast networks. "Now that is a dream come true", Singh said. In 2017, Forbes listed her as one of the top 10 highest earning Youtubers, earning a reported $10.5 million.

Hunt was subsequently signed by Cleveland on a one-year deal in February, prompting a widespread backlash against the team. I also appreciate all of the support I received from my union through this process.

Hunt can take part in the team's OTAs, minicamps and preseason games. " They continued on saying "He has committed to take advantage of available resources to help him grow personally and as a member of the Cleveland community, and to live up to his obligations as an National Football League player".

The league came under pressure from women's rights activists after Hunt was allowed to sign with Cleveland, despite the ongoing probe.

Browns general manager John Dorsey drafted Hunt for the Chiefs in 2017, when Dorsey was the team's GM. They will have options and control the running back's future beyond these nine weeks he will eligible to play next season (not including at least one home playoff game; there, I wrote it). For Madden enthusiasts, this correlated to Hunt holding a rating of 92 just behind Todd Gurley and Le'Veon Bell who are rated at 96 and 94, respectively.

Hunt, 23, will be able to participate in the Browns offseason activities and, subsequently, training camp. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in his 2017 rookie season, with stats that included 1,327 rushing yards for eight touchdowns and 455 receiving yards and three scores.
