Why Alia Bhatt wants Varun Dhawan to call her ma'am

The teaser promises a rather riveting tale of love but we'll have to wait for more till the trailer.

When Sidharth featured on Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan season 6 earlier this year, the actor opened up on his current equation with his ex-flame.

When asked about working together in the fourth film, Alia Bhatt admitted that Varun Dhawan is very close to her heart.

The teaser of Kalank was unveiled at a grand launch in the suburban theatre of Mumbai today. "But later she said no I'm just in my character", Filmi Beat quoted him as saying, to which Alia said, "this conversation never happened". While interacting with the media, Varun made a decision to tease Alia by saying that she showed a lot of attitude on the sets. "Though all our films special for us, I would say, Kalank is beyond its box office (collection) and beyond its commerce because it was my father's dream that has got fulfilled with the release of the film", he said. Then Alia had to climb on a carriage and I was pretty sure that she would fall. "He is a fantastic actor". Boasting an ensemble cast of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit, the teaser of the film set the tongues wagging as soon as it hit the internet on Tuesday.

Set in the 1940s, presented by Fox Star Studios, Kalank, produced by Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, will release on April 17.
