Jed Allan, ' Beverly Hills 90210' And Soap Opera Star, Dies At 84

Allan's son told fans, "So sorry to post the very sad news of my fathers passing tonight".

Jed Allan, the veteran United States soap actor, has died at the age of 84.

After that, the actor joined the cast of "Beverly Hills, 90210" as Rush Sanders, the father of Steve played by Ian Ziering. Such a great guy to work with, he will be missed.

Jed Allan, who acted in numerous daytime soaps, including Beverly Hills, 90210, Days of Our Lives and Santa Barbara, has died. "Before we rolled tape, sometimes we'd adjust our crotch and say, 'Let's do it the Jed Allen way.' Soap legend".

The actor, whose birth name is Jed Allan Brown, is survived by three sons he had with wife Toby Brown, who died in 2001, according to People.

His death follows five days after the passing of fellow 90210 actor Luke Perry, who died aged 52 from a stroke.

Brexit talks deadlocked before vote on May's deal
Lawmakers would then vote on Wednesday or Thursday on whether to postpone Brexit, which might be the only choice at that point. This threat of no deal has been central to May's all-or-nothing strategy to get MPs to back her Brexit plans.

Allan started his career in the 60s on television soap operas on CBC "The Secret Storm" and "Love of Life". Jed was already a star by then, and he was as warm and articulate and charming as anyone I'd ever met.

Our condolences go out to Jed Allan's family and friends. After leaving the series, he found another starring role as C.C. Capwell on Santa Barbara from 1988 to 1993. His final acting role was in the online series The Bay from 2011 to 2012.

"In loving memory of the great Mr. Jed Allan", the Instagram caption read.

He began his journey playing the infamous Edward L. Quartermaine on General Hospital back in the 1960s.

Allan's long career in soaps included stints on "Days of Our Lives", in which he played Don Craig, and "Santa Barbara" as C.C. Capwell.
